Hey out there. My name is Jason I am currently residing in Ohio.
I’ve been playing video games since my mom bought an Atari when i was 3 or 4.
I used to play my nes and snes to death and i’ve owned every system at some point in my life
except for the jaguar and virtua boy. I currently own a ps3 and 360 althogh my 360 isnt really getting much use now that the ps3 is shining in RPG games. I’m definitley an all around gamer. Fighting, racing, fps, rts, rpg, I play anything. My favorite genre is RPG and im currently play White Knight Chronicles to death. I cant put it down! My favorite game of all time is FF4/6 although I like the series as a whole. Im not looking forward to 13 as much though because Summons turning into cars seems a little more “fanfare” and alot less “FF Fan” but versus still looks great. 14 will hopefully bring me the online mmo experience ive always been looking for although WKC is keeping that part of me satisfied for now. I’m willing to move just about anywhere to become part of this industry that i’ve always already been a part of. I am currently studying a computing with games development degree and am in my first year. I know of how some games are tested and it is no cake walk as the comments say. Continuously repeating the same motion over and over may be tedious but I am a patient person with excellent documentation as well as written skills. Hello, my name is Todd. I know that when being a game tester you have to find a lot of the bugs, ill do everything that is required of me to pull out those bugs. I have been playing video games for 18 years and im only 20, granted when i started out i couldn’t do much. but it takes me less than a 24 hours play time to beat a game that the developers make now a days. i would be very interested in this for i think my skills and knowledge of what to do would benefit both the developers and myself in video game testing.

I have a permanent and perfectly visible X, practically branded into my right thumb and my index and middle fingers have L1,L2,R1,R2 seared into them from endless, sleepless nights. Computer games run through my veins every waking moment and I have a passion for them. I would like more than anything a career in the video game industry, it is one thing I’m best at and have had lifelong experience and would be excellent and dedicated.
i want to test video games very badly cause i think i would be the bomb because i have a nac for gaming for instance i beat bioshock in a day in a half to two days i mean come one and i beat assassins creed 2 in three days and uncharted two i beat in two days so just think about peace out!!!!!

Then at the age of 5 I was already beating my Dad at the games we had and also defeating all of my friends that were two to three years older than me. I then created a love for playing video games by the age of ten I got my first Playstation. But by the age of 12 My dad had recieved a Playstation 2 for a Christmas gift and I would use his playstation 2 almost everyday trying to get better and better at the games we owned. His Playstation 2 stopped working two years ago. So I got a new Playstation 2 slim. This is when I fell In love with the Sony brand. Hi, my name is Tim and i enjoy computer games mostly adventure types. i thing i am very good at playing games and i want to work for any job that includes testing or making games.
I am 20 years-old and I have been gaming ever since I could hold a control pad. I have played all genres of games from handhelds up to PC, I like to complete games on all modes as this gives me the satisfaction of knowing I haven’t missed anything at all in a game.
I am currently playing Final Fantasy VII for the third time, and I love spending time playing MMORPG’s like World of Warcraft, City of Heroes and Champions Online.
My favourite genre however, would need to be first-person shooter games, like Halo 1-3, Gears of War 1&2, but my all time favourite games would need to be the Resident Evil series.
I recently completed Resident Evil 5 on all difficulties, my favourite Resident Evil is the 4th one.
Working as a Game-Tester would be my ultimate dream job as once I start playing I have to complete the game.
The consoles I own are; PSP, Playstation, PS2, XBox, Xbox 360, Game Cube, WII, Nintendo DS and PC. I have a substantial game collection from all consoles listed above.

My name is Katherine Henderson but everyone calls me Katie. I’ve been a gamer for as long as i can remember. I remember watching my dad beat Mario for the first time. It blew my mind. Ever since I’ve been hooked. Of course I started out on old school side-scrollers that Nintendo put out, but soon moved on to Sega Genesis(at the advent of Sega Channel) which opened my mind to a whole other variety of gaming styles. When I was ten my parents bought us (myself and my two brothers) an original Playstation console plus Crash Bandicoot and an Atari compilation disc. I was hooked. Ever since I’ve played Playstation consoles exclusively. I’m a huge fan of the God of War franchise, and just about anything Bethesda puts out. I enjoy many Styles of games but My favorites are free-roaming RPG’s, First Person Shooters (Katie loves da headshots!), and Real-Time Strategies. As a woman, I do find it hard to relate to many of the protagonists in games. It seems female characters in games are usually there more for decorative purposes rather than to kick ass and move the story along. But I admire the effort game developers have been making these last few years. Maybe it would help if you had more Gamer girls on your staff.
I don’t have much experience at gaming, but watch my son and husband play hours and hours. I wonder if there are games I could test that would feel out a market to interest more women and girls. It is not that I can’t play, but that I don’t find the “guy type” of games to interest me.
i have played playstation my whole life because no other system comes close to being as good and because of that im extremely good at PS1,2,3 and PSP games the main games im good at are fighting games i dont know many people who can beat me except others MK masters and other game masters and i think that this would be a perfect job for me i love video games and im good at it so the best thing i could ever get is a gaming job!!!!

People don’t realize how big of an industry video games are; many games outsell #1 box office movies. I work for a consumer that rents out games and love to get all the game rentals and play them to the max and tell customers on how to beat them when they come in and talk to me about how to get past certain parts. I have loads of experience in gaming since i played bruce lee on the artarery then shortly after that had the sega mega drive. I played many games on there, i do like to complete every game i get on every level. The games i like to play are shooting adventure games like, Resident evil, Tomb raider, uncharted. I’m a resident of an awful, awful country called Hungary; and I’m a video game enthusiast who enjoys a solid plot with good music and some challenging battles.
My first experience with gaming of any kind came with the good old Commodore 64. My most vague memory of a game is about an owl in what I beleive is a sidescroller. The name of course eludes me but an owl is pretty easy to find in a game if anyone remembers it. I remember playing that difficult game, it began with “aztec” something…
At any rate, as I grew and gained the ability to distinguish the goods and bads of my tastes, I’ve found that I’m very drawn to RPGS, FPS-es.
Other than that I very much like but not quite love RTS games and certain types of simulators (The Sims \ Black & White , as opposed to Microsoft Flight Simulator and the like).
I’m currently 23 and though we gained posession of the commodore when I was just a pants-crapper, I won’t go cliché and say, “Oh 20 years of experience”. I’m willing to move absolutely anywhere away from this country, with special preferences to canada, america or london – maybe Japan. As long as the society in wherever I am to go will have me and I can expect a smooth transition, I’m willing to go anywhere.
