When I play video games I force myself to do 100% completions(gotta love those platinum trophies). I play all my games on all difficulties available, just to get the full experience. I feel I would be very qualified for this job, because I’m prepared to fulfill the requirements to the fullest. I have a PC that runs games great, as well as my PS3. Gameing where do i start well gameing is my life i love to open my eyes and see that controller in my hands.What i do is all my old games or friends old games ill take them and run around to try to find glitchs invisable walls places where i get stuck anything basically that is not supposed to be there thats what im looking for.then ill write them down and me and my friends will see compare what we found or if he found sumthing that i did not.I WOULD LOVE TO DO THIS AND GET PAID but even if i don’t hear a reply ill be here finding glitches in your games that your employees couldent

well i am really good at games…. so i thought i would let you know what i can do….. i can almost bet any game in a day.. i love playing games its so fun coming home and just jumping into a game i mean i just got my ps3 and my friends let me borrow there games then i got my own and man i was owning im really good at games sooo i started thinking what if i can test them….. well i guess ill keep trying to get a job as a tester!

Sony playstation has come a long way from PS PS2 and now PS3. I am exceptionally good at playing games and even better at strategizing doesnt matter what kind of game, game testing was always something i wanted to try i figured if your gonna have a job why not test games something you love and having to do it everyday , there
is something exciting about that.
Not one word could accurately describe my passion and ardor for the wonderful universe we all know as video gaming. From a little tyke of the age of 3 to 23 years old, I have played many games on many systems ranging from consoles, to arcade system to hand-held. With an eye for detail and quality, the virtue of patience, and a never-say-die attitude, I would be absolutely perfect for video game testing. On another note, the PS3 is very amazing in terms of it’s capabilities and the chance to test games for Sony would be like an eternity in paradise. I am Mark Treber Thomas and I am 19 years old. I have been an avid gamer since I was 3 years old. I love video games with all my heart so getting a job in the video game industry would be like a dream come true. I enjoy playing all systems and do not object to playing any genre of video games. I am currently in college studying to get a Bachelors degree in Digital Entertainment and Game Design so that I can make my dreams come true. I am aware that being a game tester is hard and can be frustrating at times but I would like to give it a shot. It would be a nice first step into the world of video game design.

I would love to be a video game tester. I live in Saginaw, MI and I have many guy friends who can’t believe how good I am at video games. I have a WII, PS3 and super Nintendo. I would have to say that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Little Big Planet are two of my favorite games on PS3. I am currently enrolled for my Business and Information Technology degree and I thought testing video games is another job related to the tech field. How great would it be to have a job doing what you love and what you’re good at!!!
I’m a 19 year old college drop-out based in Manchester, England. Currently looking to switch careers into the gaming market as game is pretty much all I do. been playing video games since I was 5 and am looking to turn my addiction into a profit. Currently, I own an XBOX360, a laptop, and a Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP. Didn’t get a Playstation 3 for the simple reason I could only afford one machine and had doubts about blu-ray (what was I thinking eh?). However, I have over 13 years experience with Playstation consoles, and currently finding many games on today’s market easy enough that I could complete them several times over, within a deadline, no problem. I’m a hardcore gamer, very critical/cynical on where the market is heading and would love nothing more than to test upcoming titles. To put it bluntly, I’m exactly what the industry needs in a games tester. I’m not simply applying because “I like games and It think it would be fun”, I’m applying because I live and breathe gaming, understand everything required of a games tester, and I am THE perfect choice when it comes to thoroughly testing games.

I think i would be a brilliant games tester. I have researched the job description, and sure it is hard work. I spend most of my time on games and wouldn’t see the time consumed as a problem. I have a logical mind and am able to seek minor details easily.
I would love to be able to get involved and iron out the creases in these games, and do my part to ensure gamers have a smoother future for what they submit countless hours and pounds towards.

Hello my name is Justin and everyone has been telling me these days I should be a tester. I have been playing video games since I was 4 years old and notic glitches and what could make games better and more enjoyable for people to play. Also I make it a goal to beat every game completely no matter how little the tasks are in difficulty and size. I own a PS3 and I am an abit player and beat games averaging in a time of 3 hours depending on the length of the game of course. I would love to become a part of the PlayStation team and believe I would be a great asset to the company and would be a great addition to the team. I would love to be a tester for Sony. I’m 35 years old and been playing video games for the past 30 years, ever since the Odyssey consol came out in the 70′s. I play to relieve strees and to escape reality. Im into games like Call of Duty, GTA, God of War, and any action adventure game. I will try any and all games at least once. I used to spend most of my younger years in the arcades trying to master the games with people watching. It felt great! I still carry that experiance over to the gameing consols of today. I have been playing games for as long as I can remember now and a I am a very fast and aggressive player, in the sense that I like to play games at my own pace and when a bug appears which I am seeing a lot of now, it really annoys me. I hate to see good games go to waste due to some simple over looked problems. In my most recent titles (that I will not name) I have found numerous hick ups, mainly clipping and some terrible collision detections, I play every genre of video game available and have found that a lot of the problems have arisen due to the camera angles or the lack of control the player seems to have over what ever task they are trying to complete. Ideally I also would love to go into game design, but feel i have too much knowledge (and frustration) under my belt to not voice my hints and tips to others.
In my spare time I often make videos aimed at the gaming community to help them through their own video game issues and make it as simple as possible so that even the most inexperienced of player can complete even the most complex of tasks.

Being a game tester has always been my dream. Currently I own most of Sony’s gaming consoles such as the gray PS1, 2x PSone, PS2 phat, PS2 slim, PS3 60Gb and a PSP2000 slim. I also own a Nintendo DS lite, Nintendo Wii and the classic SEGA Mega Drive 16Bit. I also have a gaming grade PC, and yes it does run Crysis on highest setting.
I have a lot of games on all my SONY consoles, and I haven’t started playing most of them. I have a thing with just buying new games while I’m still busy with another. Whenever I play a game I try and finish it 100%, getting everything, and unlocking everything possible within the game. This is probably the main reason that I have tons of games waiting to be finished.
My greatest feat so far has been finishing FFVIII 20 times. I absolutely love that game on the PSone.
Playing games has always been my number one passion and if I could be a game tester for SONY, it would definitely be one of my dreams coming true.

Hello , my name is Cris Buensalida I have been in love with gaming since i was 5 first game i ever played was doom and when the first PlayStation came out i was hooked from resident evil, metal gear solid, crash bandicoot even to final fantasy. In every game i enjoyed trying to discover everything in the game from little secrets to extra equipment i usually dont take long to finish the game but i always re-play the games so that everything is completed. i think that if i spent my time other then games i would be a different person but i am a gamer through and through and would not change a thing about it. I went from PC, N.E.S, super nintendo, sega, PS1, PS2, xbox and now a PS3, I basically play any game from RPG, FPS, and tactical games too but i think i prefer RPG like a final fantasy titles but regardless of what i like i always play the game until everything is completed it gives me a sense of accomplishment. I would love game testing to be a career so that feeling of accomplishment would be greater because i would be the first to complete that game. I’m 31yrs old from Plymouth, UK. Have been playing games ever since frogger and chuckie egg on my Acorn Electron! From there i went on to Amiga 500 > Sega Megadrive > Gameboy > Playstation > PS2 > DS Lite > Wii > Games on Mobile phones and on PC.
I have always had a passion for gaming and have now successfully got my 8yr old son to a level proficient enough to think he’s going to beat me (bless him).
I would LOVE the opportunity to test games, from a young age I have wanted to work in the industry but due to playing games in my teens instead of studying I didn’t achieve the sort of results at school/college that i would have needed.
I’m fed up of mundane telephone operator jobs when i know where my true passion lies.

Hi, my name is Steven (20 UK) a hardcore gamer who have been playing games since the age of 5 which I had no clue what to do at the time, but as I grew older I started to understand the concept of video games and how they are played and now whenever a new game comes out, I am able to finish them in a day, just tell me what the keys are and I’ll have game completed.
I’m in college studying programming to try and get into the world of gaming industry so testing game would be a step towards my goal and a step to my ambition becoming a game designer.
My first ever game was Dungeon keeper on the PC and I have also played most of the best selling and classic titles such like, Baldur’s gate, God of war, Call of duty(from first to the latest), Final Fantasy (all of them apart from 11/12), etc.
I’ve entered only one competition in my life for Cod4mw1 and won £100 so I would say I’ve been around and gain huge amount of gaming experience, I’ve own Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, PC, DSlite. So I have pretty much played on all platforms.
Video game has always been in my life and will always will, only problem is that I don’t live in America.

My name is Colton Lombardo. I am 19 years old and I absolutely love video games and everything about them. Ever since I was 5 years old I have been playing video games. I have owned every system there is. I currently have a Playstation 3 and it is the best gaming system I have ever owned by far. I could play on it all day. I am very picky when it comes to details in games. I can catch the smallest bit of error on any game. I love to play sports games, first-person shooters, anything really. Whenever I play a new game I write things down to which should be added or enhanced. I would be very good as a video game tester because of the fact I never think any game is “good enough” and can always be better and I always have new ideas, thoughts, suggestions, etc. I pay very close attention to detail and I am a hard worker. I very much dislike when people half-do something and I would partake in my job 110% and accomplish everything that is needed to be done, no questions asked.

Hi as you can see i’m Alexander Kerr, prefer to be called alec though. I am a 32 year old gamer and have been playing sony games half my life, I currently own 2 laptops/ps3 40gb/and still have the old ps2 set up now and again lol. I would like to think i’d be a good games tester, my method of playing games involves progressing through the game as fast as possible till completion, then going back and playing the game to full completion if possible.
I enjoy looking at and exploring all aspects of games, such as graphical content, area exploration etc etc. Lord of the rings conquest had at least 4 glitches that i can think of off hand in the online multiplayer levels. however only 2 of them had any tactical value.
The latest game I am eagerly awaiting is of course the next installment of Final Fantasy as this game is supposedly pushing the PS3′s graphical engine to its max, I’d be more than surprised to find their isn’t at least one glitch turns up in the game. Square Enix may be (in my own opinion) one of the greatest game developers in the world, but they can’t get it 100% right all of the time.
