Mike was responsible for such hit titles as WarHawk, Twisted Metal, Jet Moto, and Mickey Mania. If you want to break into the videogame industry, becoming a videogame tester is a great beginning step. Keep in mind, a tester’s job isn’t a cakewalk.

I have a Playstaion 3 and am getting tired of playing the games that are already out over and over again. I love to play videogames and would love to get payed to do it. I would also love to play games that aren’t even out yet. I am currently an intern at a composting place and am not getting paid. I have been playing video games since the age of 3, and have owned or played nearly every notable game system in existence. I know more about the technical aspects of gaming than the average gamer as I have done some CG modeling, texturing, lighting etc. and even have some experience with programming. I’m currently majoring in Computer Science and potentially might direct my degree to a more specific area. I consider myself to have proficient writing capabilities and a good technological understanding of many game design terms and concepts. I tend to have a good recollection of previous problems that may have been present, and consider myself to be technically proficient in taking and carrying out directions.
I would love to hear more about this potential opportunity, and I can assure you that I will try my best and work with efficiency if presented with this task.

One would absolutely love to be a games tester for playstation; it would be a dream come true. For many years one has considered this but never realised that a ‘living’ could be made from it. One has many years of experience playing the Playstation, x-box, nintendo, PC and joystick aided games and would like to get into computer game design. Have always been interested in developing a new version of the game ‘The Last Ninja’ which is an extremely old game for the commodore 64 and was extremely playable and exciting.

Ive been playing video games (mostly ps1,2,3 and wii) for as long as they have been out, playing games like WarHawk and Battlefield are so fun for me along with racing and i could spend hours on hours having fun on them. Id love to know more about this since video gaming is something id love to do.

I have had all playstations and loved every single moment playing with them. I had lots of games for my psx and ps2 and now since i have my ps3, i started buying some games for it. I always thought that it would be fun and quite interesting experience being a playstation videogame tester.
I just want to say there is no one with a love for playstation games and systems like me.I have been an avid video game player for about 20 years and I’m only 24.I think I would be an Ideal candidate for a video game tester its my passion and my escape and I love breaking them down to the simplist form.

My Life involes around games! Iv been playing them as far as I can remeber. I also like to learn about games as much as posiable. Im even a collector of old games consoles. I have the Guiness world records game editions both 2008 and 2009. Im 21 and i have been an experienced gamer for many years. Dating all the way back to nes orginally with many consells inbetween,spaning over time and now have a ps3. The reason i want to become a games tester is simple i love vidoe games and spotting there flaws and weaknesses. I have easily being honest,completed over 200+ video games and live to play the next great game, but usally expectations of a game rarely live up to its hype. truthfully i don’t know how long i have been playing video games but i know the first game system i really enjoyed was a ps2 my mother bought me for Christmas when i was in school. i don’t have any collage background or any special technical training just the love of what i do and what interest me and every thing about games interest me ever since i graduated from high school i wanted to get a good job some thing that challenges me and that makes me feel like I’m making a difference in peoples lives soon after graduation it changed from a job to a career I’m not saying i want you to give me the job although that would be fantastic i would like help in achieving my goal so what i am asking is for some info on how to get started like what do i need and where do i go so i may apply

Hi, I have been a gamer ever since I was 6 years of age, I spend all my time, all day, all night just playing games, and most videos on YouTube that show glitches in games like CoD 4,5,6,BFBC, and more first person shooter games I find glitches I love them. I also own Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC, which are the most important in todays society or shall I say gaming world.

So i want to help the gaming industry find these flaws and correct them. It just spoils the game for everyone especially if it is vital to the game play that you succeed pass where there is a bug or crash site.

Im trying to find some way to become any type of Beta tester and what would be the most fun would be VG Tester. I understand that if u want to get yourself into the videogame field like actuall 3D Animation and Game design, that this isnt the way. Beta testers usually stay in the same job and get stuck. i dont plan on moving. game design is amazing but being able to find the glitches and keeping notes all the time would be fun.
I am a 23 year old who eats, breaths, and sleeps Playstation. I love all kind of games especially Racing games (CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL DEBUT OF GRAN TURISMO 5 seriously cant wait).My favorite games growing up with PlayStation over the years have been obviously Gran Turismo, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, (after Trilogy they were not so great)and Metal Gear Solid. I own over 70 PS1,2, and 3 games. Being a tester for Sony PlayStation would be an opportunity that I would not take for granted. I work two jobs in order to fuel my PlayStation needs and I can still find time to get on the old PlayStation. I feel a need to expose a games for what it really is. For example I am far from an RPG fan, but recently I have played Dragon Age Origins and it made me have different feeling about an RPG game. It was like a Final Fantasy with much more interaction between player and game. I am a sucker for the small details in a game. ex) Dragon Age Origins- When you strike an enemy the blood can be seen on armor and will stay on even after a reloaded game. Like I said it the small things in a game I look for. Anyways I don’t want to make this crazy so to the point. I would appreciate the responsibility and duty of testing and reporting on products from Sony PlayStation.
